    I’ve noticed that my “Fediverse reactions” block does not show on single post pages. It does, however, show on archive pages in the query loop. Any idea of any gotchyas there may be? I’m on v7. Thanks.

    ive kept my own website for about 10 years now and it’s gone through a bunch of migrations to different platforms / frameworks.

    Settled on wordpress for now but have a laravel one I’ve built with wordpress importers ready to go. 🤣

    kind of obsessed with my website.

    So many things I loved about this post!

    I’ve used LastFM myself for years too, but never tried Pro. Will be giving it a try after reading this.

    I got a bit obsessive over my own listening, and put a plugin together for myself to pull in my listening history, and ongoing listens, from LastFM. It saves them in my WP database so I can now have a URL per listen.

    Dont judge me. haha.

  • this is actually scary. It’s mad how much the world’s business relies on these few us companies. Madness.

    for everyday people it would be amazing if they made it super easy to self host things.

    I use wordpress and would love to be able to reliably self host. I could get it working but doesnt feel like it would be taken well by hosting provider.

    Having my own site all these years now allows me to look back at what I was doing; thinking; enjoying across the years.

    love the writing ideas too . I’ve done a bunch of them and will look at doing some of the others now too. 🙂

    just appreciate this plugin existing. It’s great to be able to be my own fediverse node.
