Making decent progress with my lastfm scrobbles importer plugin for WordPress. Importing (new and backdating) is working.
Just need to tidy up the admin display and sort out the displaying in templates.
It’s been years since I worked on WP plugins so it’s taking some time along with my screaming tot.
These “End of Year” wrap ups are getting ridiculous. Like most Internet fads.
Now my banking app has decided to show me a “wrap up”.
Like “Here you go David – here’s how much you spend living this year and a reminder of why you can’t afford a new boiler yet”.
I was in the top 0.25% of listeners of Motorhead in November 2024. On YouTube Music. Thanks to @malarkey for the album recommendations. Couldn’t have done it without him π

I’m working on a WordPress plugin to import scrobbles from Last fm and display on your website.
It’ll work like the traktivity plugin that imports and displays trakt watches for TV shows and films.
It’s an itch I want to scratch but hopefully could be helpful to others out there.
Started playing Horizon Zero Dawn remastered this morning before work.
I played the original for a couple hundred hours at this point. One of my favorite games.
Decided not to import my game data to this remastered version so I can start again fresh.
Also I’ve gone for the hardest difficulty straight off.

My most played song was “Man in a box” by Alice in Chains apparently. I love the song but am surprised it was my most played one.
Starting on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series 2. Would have loved more episodes per series, but the first one was nice and focused. πΌπ§π§ββοΈπ§πΉ
