  • I forget what monster this was, but it was one i just came across on my way around the shoreline on my boat.

    Its a game that has definitely grown on me – due in big part to these side quest encounters.

  • My first day in Novigrad

    I decided to break away from my quest and head north to Novigrad.

    I had some currency i’d looted, which said I could exchange at the Novigrad bank. So off I went.

    I tried a direct route but that was guarded and I was unable to pass without a pass of some kind.

    So I just went off-road and crossed at some marshes to the north west.

    After a slight detour into a small treasure hunt, I arrived at Novigrad.

    Love the size and the vibes. Prob gonna spend some time just exploring this place.

    The botchling fight in The Witcher 3 was not fun. Especially when those bloody spectres kept showing up.

    I dont feel like there’s much of a skill climb to get in the game so far – other than jump, roll, hack n slash.

    But maybe thats on me and my abilities.

    Still, lets continue on.

    Took me a few hours to realize that The Witcher 3 on Playstation 5 has a photo mode. Albeit limited.

    Still, I should get some decent shots out of this, my first full play through of the game.

    This was taken as I was walking into the abandoned village near the start, to set the Noonwraith free.

    It took me way too long to work out how to actually do damage to her.

  • A pair of child-size velcro-fastening shoes. Blue with white toes and blue cheater print pattern. One of the shoes has had its entire top section torn off by a very naughty dog.

  • WordPress, like pretty much everyone, is gulping up the ai hype and introducing and showing off a bunch of ai capabilities around a wordpress website (as seen in State of the Word 2025)

    My question for anyone out there is, is this even wanted by anyone?

    Having a third party ai take action on a website is not exciting to me. It’s just another step in taking humans out of creative endeavours.

  • Starting The Witcher 3

    Starting The Witcher 3 again for the 3rd time. Never got further than 2 hours or so in.

    Gonna try and commit this time.

  • No. I’m not gonna rebuild my website core. But i think I’m gonna try to build my own classic theme, based loosely on an old version of my site.

    Could be fun?
