Some shots taken in the Tibetan Foothills level of Tomb Raider 2 remastered.
Tricky level this, especially with the dudes on jetskis trying to mow you down.

Been getting back into Tomb Raider 2 via the remaster collection.
The Maria Doria levels were always my favourites.
Something about the isolation deep under the ocean just ticked a bunch of boxes for me.
I took a few shots from The Deck level today.
So activitypub plugin does seem to work with #ClassicPress. I dont see the customization options in a metabox like in gutenberg editor, but I’m not too fussed about that.

Removing more and more people from working, whilst making cancerous billionaires richer, is only ever going to result in greater and greater inequality.
Everything else is parlour tricks.
There is pretty much nothing good to come from any of this crap being peddled as “The greatest thing to enhance human capability”.
The whole “human in a loop” thing – this is essentially taking people out of creative and critical thinking and reducing them to glorified conveyerbelt workers on a production line of “content”.
Whilst “ai” is the worst invention to flood the world in recent times, the word “content” is the word I’d love to confine to room 101.
People talking about “content” just pull every creative expression down to its lowest form that all comes down to “engagement” which itself basically equates to “analytics clicks / views / whatever”.
The World Wide Web was a gift with the greatest of potential.
It has been reduced to a mincing machine that steals from the creatively-gifted amongst us, in order to give non-creative people the false sense that they are.
All so they can create, and I use that term very lightly, slops of images and videos that will be forgotten tomorrow.
All at the cost of ours and the planet’s future.

Never thought I’d get to visit this location from the original Alien Film.
Incredible vibes and a scene almost identical to that of said film.

My website (this website) does not track you in any way.
I have even disabled access logging in my server config.
Until today I did use Matomo, which was self-hosted. But then I came to the conclusion that I just don’t need it.
At the same time I both care about the people who visit my website — unless you are a fascist — and don’t care who visits my site.
Those early Elton John albums really are incredible. May need to make this week an Elton John Discography week.
What follows is a comment I wrote on Link-Din to a future software developer looking for advice:
Have fun first.
Don’t choose some technology because people / job specs tell you that you should use it.
Explore different languages. Build little projects in those different languages.
Build your own personal website and blog about your learning.
If you go into development using react because that what people / bootcamps told you, then you will be a react developer for a while.
Im not saying thats a bad thing, but if you dont like what you’re using and only use it because you were told you should, you will soon be in the position of hating a job that you need to pay the bills.
Oh and dont listen to people who tell you that you MUST use “ai” in order to be a professional.
Learn for yourself and chart your progress. Just try and be a little better at the job than you were yesterday.
