It feels like ClassicPress has been a lifeline to me. I’ve had my personal site for a little over 10 years and have been on and off WordPress a few times.
It’s been powered by WordPress for the last couple of years and have tried to embrace the block editor. Even started learning react so I could build plugins.
But the recent waves / tsunamis in the WP™️ community over last month or so have made me want to just ditch WordPress and migrate to a static site generator (which I won’t get time for currently)
I thought hope was lost.
Then I heard about ClassicPress.
Literally within 1 hour I had installed the ClassicPress migrate plugin, followed the instructions (which were simple) and turned my website into a Classic Press one.
I’m now proudly powered by ClassicPress and rocking the TwentySixteen theme.
I want to send a massive Thank You and huge love to all those involved in this project. 💚
