  • Loved that Chvrches turned up in Death Stranding 2. Nice touch.

  • Hmmm. My WordPress Activitypub just decided to stop working. Then started working again. Not sure if this was a glitch with the plugin or just some network gremlins though.

    I really need to dig into the code of the activitypub stuff to get a good understanding of how it all works together.

  • You couldn’t make this stuff up. We are in the darkest timeline for sure.

  • So it turns out that the indieblocks plugin …

    So it turns out that the indieblocks plugin for wordpress has built-in notes and like posttypes.

    This is my first “note” type. Might look at migrating old notes to this new type.

  • Trying to listen to Supertramp albums on YouTube Music — some of my favourite ever albums — and half the songs are unavailable.

    Most likely this is down to some stupid fucking copyright issue that only occurs to certain songs or somet.

    You can see from the screenshots below that half the songs — arguably the best ones — are greyed out unavailable.

    This is why music streaming — aka renting — cannot be relied upon.

    Buy your favourite albums and keep the physical copies for yourself.

  • I just followed a link to a post on the bluesky website.

    It’s literally how twitter was, pre-nazi, except with a slightly different logo.

    Y’all are gonna fall for it all again aren’t you.

  • Hmm. Seems that when my posts appear in fediverse, I am hit with that Ddos effect off all connected instances requesting my page at the same time.

    This may only be for posts with images attached so I’m going to try and switch to using a plugin to offload my media on to Digital Ocean spaces.

    Will report back.
